IHOP

IHOP is a good, family friendly restaurant that serves both breakfast and lunch/dinner menus all day and night as long as they are open. It’s somewhat like the “classy” Waffle House or Huddle House. I have eaten at various IHOPs around the country specifically in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. The best I have eaten at has to be the restaurant in Anderson, SC… The staff is extremely friendly and they offer the best service by far. The worst one I have eaten at has got to be the restaurant in Fayetteville, NC. The staff is okay but my waitress tonight (27 AUG 2010) was by far the most introverted waitress I have ever had. She just seemed to be going through the motions and didn’t seem to care too much about her job. The worst part about the situation was that the restaurant was fairly empty at the dinner time rush, in a military town, and she just never seemed to be around. I drank all of my beverage and it took about 10 minutes for her to notice and bring me more… I actually thought I was going to have to ask for more. Anyway, IHOP is a great restaurant and its image is tainted all because of the IHOP restaurant on Skibo Rd. in Fayetteville, NC. I would have to rate it a 3 out of 5 because the food actually came out fairly quickly. Also, they currently have a promotion where kids eat for free from 4 pm until 10 pm daily in August… That’s about 7 bucks off of my bill!
