Callaway Golf Clubs FT Irons/FT-iQ/Odyssey White Hot XG
Before you go out, you might want to check out some new clubs. I currently use the Callaway FT Irons with the FT-iQ Driver, Callaway X Forged Wedges, Callaway X Hybrid 3h, Callaway Golf 2008 X Series 3W/5W and an Odyssey White Hot XG #9 putter with Callaway Golf HX Tour golf balls. The FT-iQ is the straightest, most accurate driver I have ever played with and hits it even further than my Callaway Golf FT5 Driver. The X Series woods are amazing and allow even the amatuer of players to get the ball in the air off of tight lies and they allow you to power out of even the thickest rough; the X Series hybrid works very similarly to the X Woods and are a very suitable replacement for the typical 2,3, & 4 Long Irons. The X Forged Wedges are amazing and given the right ball, you can stop your shot on a dime and back it up with ease. Roger Cleveland is the genius behind the design of the X Forged wedges and he continues to design those wedges specifially for Phil Mickelson. The Odyssey series putters are amazing and allow you to feel more when striking the putt. The White Hot XG #9 is byfar the best putter I have ever used and I get accurate roll and line even off of miss hits. The best part of my bag would have to be the FT irons that I purchased from Dick's Sporting Goods. I got them on sale for $1,099 and they came with the FT-iQ Driver Free, a $499 value. These are the best game improvement irons I have ever used. I used to use the Callaway Golf Big Bertha 2006 model irons, which are typcially recommended for beginners and those seeking game improvement. These FT irons outperformed those Big Berthas hands down and gave me more control over my shots and mishits were not ever prevalent in my 6 rounds I played before deploying, one of which was at Walt Disney World Resorts golf course, Disney's Magnolia Golf Course. I continue to use the HX Tour Golf balls that the Tour Pros used 2-3 years ago on tour because it is a very versatile and durable ball that allows me to shape my shots better and put more backspin on the ball allowing me to control the ball better on the greens.
If you are ever in the market for a new set of clubs, I would recommend these Callaway Golf clubs I have mentioned... I think I may just used these until the fall completely apart.
